Online Courses
Students may select online courses in any combination with Harmony’s Options, Flex and ESP courses. A variety of core and elective courses are available, and educational support is offered by our mentors and instructors.
Harmony provides online course subscriptions, Harmony Kits, and Flex courses at no cost to the student.


ALEKS
This online math program is based on the student’s competency and mastery of the concept with low parental involvement. You and your student will choose which order to work on course topics. All work is done online, so there is no textbook.
- Grades 1 – 8
- Math (Core)
- Course examples: LV 5, Middle School Math 2 (7th grade Math), and Algebra I
- On average, students spend 30 minutes a day working on assignments

BYU Independent Study
A variety of online middle and high school courses are offered. Courses are completed on a semester basis. Course instructors are available—with low parental involvement.

- All Core courses and Electives

Compass Learning (Odyssey)
An online elementary student program where parents are involved with K-3 and less involved in 4-6. A pre-assessment test determines the student’s starting point and learning path. Students have the option to complete multiple grade levels of coursework during the school year. There is no textbook.

You and your student will choose from flexible content options that are structured to challenge students. There is little parental involvement, with an instructor administering assignments, quizzes, and projects.

- Various Technology and CTE Electives (0.5 Elective credit only per course)
- Course examples: Digital Arts, Game Design, Computer Science, and Intro. to Marketing

eDynamic Learning
This structured online program is based on the student’s competency and mastery of the concept. You and your student will choose from flexible content, with teacher-graded assignments and little parental involvement. Online quizzes will be provided.
- Grades 7 – 8
- Various Electives (0.5 elective credit only per course)
- Course examples: Digital Photography I, World Religions, Astronomy, and Archaeology

This structured course comes with a box of necessary materials. Parents are involved with K-3 and less involved in 4-8.

Rosetta Stone provides a structured online program that is student-guided, with a flexible selection of content. Some parental involvement is needed for young students. There are online assignments and quizzes given.

- Foreign Language (1.0 Elective credit per level completed)
