A great place to stay up-to-date on important dates is the first page of the Family Resource Center. Here you’ll find information such as Flex submission dates, testing dates, etc. Bookmark this link to stay informed.
Here is the official Twin Falls School District calendar. Save this for reference during the year.
No School, Teacher development day: Oct. 18
Fall break: Oct. 24-25
Thanksgiving break: Nov. 25-29
End of 1st Semester: Dec. 20
Christmas Break: Dec. 23-Jan. 5 (school resumes on Jan. 6)
Helpful information about Canvas is available on a new page in the Family Resource Center. Once logged into the FRC, click on this link. This information is helpful if you have a Flex Independent or Flex Direct course.
Flex Courses and Submission Dates
Here are the next Flex submission dates: Oct. 11, Oct. 25, Nov. 8, Nov. 22. Be sure to submit your students’ worksheets on time as this tracks attendance and progress.
To find helpful information about Flex, log in to the Family Resource Center, then go to Educational Resources > Flex Resources > Flex Training. Be sure to watch the “How to Submit a Flex Worksheet” video found in Flex Resources in the Family Resource Center.
For those submitting resource orders, October 31 is the last date to submit a resource order for the first ordering period. Resource ordering will open again from Dec. 1 to Jan. 31.
If you are submitting receipts for reimbursements, you may continue to make up to one submission each month.
You can check your student’s funding balance by logging into the Family Resource Center and clicking on Student Success Plan > View Resource Allocation Balance.
You can also check the status of your resource request by logging in to the Family Resource Center and clicking on Student Success Plan > View Your Resource Requests. If there is a problem with your resource order, you can contact the ordering department by going to Student Success Plan > Request Resources > Get Help with an Existing Order (Submit a Help Desk Ticket). You may leave comments related to missing items, provide additional information, etc.
