Frequently Asked Questions About Enrollment

What are the dates and times for wait list and registration?

January 1st – Feb 28th :  Returning student registration

Returning students will be contacted and will have until the end of February to return all necessary paperwork

March 1st: Wait-list sibling lottery

A random selection will be held for the sibling wait list, and priority given on the basis of that random selection.

March 1st – March 31st: Sibling wait-list acceptance (according to availability)

Siblings on the wait list will be contacted and notified of acceptance as spots become available. They will have until March 31st to return paperwork.

April 1st: Non-sibling lottery

A random selection will be held for the non-sibling wait-list, and priority given on the basis of that random selection.

April 1st – Start of school: all student acceptance (according to availability)

Students from the wait-list will be notified as spaces become available in our programs. Deadlines for paperwork will be given according to the date of acceptance.

What is Dual Enrollment?

Dual enrollment, according to state law, is defined as a student who is enrolled simultaneously in a Utah public school AND in a Utah charter school, home school, Utah online school, or a regularly established private school.

**Note:  Harmony Educational Services DOES NOT participate in the dual enrollment program.

Why do I need to fill a registration packet?

A full registration packet is required by state law to be enrolled in a Utah charter school. All pages in the enrollment packet are important and the required paperwork is needed for our partner charter schools’ records.

Do I need to fill out a registration packet if I am a returning student?

YES. Harmony Educational Services has partnered with several Utah charter schools. Each of our partner charter schools can only enroll certain grades. If your student must be switched to a different school because of grade or location requirements, the alternative school will require a full registration packet for the new school year.

How do I turn in paperwork for my student?

Parents can fax, scan and email, or mail their students paperwork to Harmony Educational Services.
