Alaska Student Recruitment: Certified Harmony Rep. (CHR)

We are looking for a Student recruiter that understands the unique online K-12 educational industry and opportunities in Alaska and can help us grow our student base as well as help identify potential schools to expand our partnerships. This is a full-time position preferably located in Alaska

Responsibilities:

• The applicant preferably lives in Alaska.
• Regular travel is required
• Ability to recruit and close deals
• Initiate and promote Harmony’s programs to homeschooling families and other students interested in distance education
• Obtain advanced knowledge of homeschool programs offered in the industry
• Initiate promotional activities and branding through active social media participation
• Create presentations about Harmony’s programs and present to groups of various sizes
• Attend trade shows, conventions, and other venues to present the Harmony programs
• Serve as an advocate and an information source for Harmony’s programs
• Sustain rapport with key individuals and key accounts
• Help identify potential schools that we can partner with and promote Harmony’s programs
• Must have strong leadership and team member skills

Qualifications:

• Dynamic presentation skills
• Knowledge of and experience with homeschooling and/or distance learning preferred
• Ability to work independently and also work well in a team
• Team-building skills
• Ability to take initiative with new tasks
• Critical thinking in resolving issues
• Highly responsible, self-motivated and able to produce great results with little supervision
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office/Word, PowerPoint, Google docs and Social Media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Linkedin
• Excellent written and oral communication

Utah Certified High School Financial Literacy/Personal Finance

Harmony Educational Services, an innovative distance learning program, has an immediate part-time opening for a Utah certified High School Financial Literacy/Personal Finance Teacher of Record for our distance learning program for high school students. The teacher’s primary role will be to review student progress each month and work with mentors, administrators, and families to create a supportive learning environment. This position may be fulfilled remotely.

Potential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Know and understand the online programs available to the student
• Be familiar with the Utah state requirements for curriculum
• Work with students to answer questions and address concerns about the student’s educational programs and goals
• Keep and maintain accurate records, documenting progress and completing appropriate paperwork

Skills and Qualifications:

• Current and updated teaching certification for grades 9-12
• Excellent communication skills, patience, understanding and tact
• Attention to detail, tracking specific information regarding verbal conversations and written communication
• Experience with and/or knowledge of the home school environment, objectives and goals
• Must be willing to complete a background check

Utah Certified High School Science Composite Teacher
