Harmony Flex Direct

Flex Direct courses offer individualized study focused on state standards at grade level, while supported by certified teachers. Flex Direct instructors provide recorded presentations each week related to the Flex worksheet topics.

  • Teachers provide direct instruction with lessons based on the Flex Direct quizzes and worksheets.
  • Students have access to several recorded presentations each week.  The recordings can be viewed any time during the week.
  • The recorded teacher sessions are designed to help students master the topics covered by the Flex Direct quizzes and worksheets.
  • Doing the lessons and quizzes or worksheets in order is preferred as it allows students to learn skills that build upon each other.
  • Flex Direct teachers are available to help with the course content and assessments.

The Flex Direct program allows you to:

  • Customize your child’s education by matching the worksheets to their curriculum.
  • Create a unit study based on worksheet topics.
  • Decide the amount of time students need to learn course topics.
  • Have students redo quizzes or worksheets and resubmit them.

Throughout the semester, students demonstrate their knowledge of the standards by completing Flex Direct quizzes or worksheets.

  • Student learning may be designed as unit studies, allowing creativity and flexibility to explore the topics of study.
  • Textbooks, workbooks, science kits and other learning materials for Flex Direct courses are provided by Harmony at no cost to the family, through resource ordering or reimbursements.
  • Mentors and instructors provide support as your children learn in dynamic ways.

Flex Direct At a Glance

Note: Flex Direct courses are not available for high school students.
