Dear Harmony Utah Families,
After a successful program this past semester, Harmony is excited to invite you to participate in the elective course – Growth Mindset with WhyTry. This course aims to fill a student’s imaginary backpack with tools for life success. Through a combination of age-appropriate hands-on activities using creative metaphors, art activities, music, and journaling, students will explore strategies for life.
WhyTry is a 16-week course that will begin on January 23, 2023. The class is available to students in grades K-3 and 4-6. The cost of this semester course is $35.
The class is offered in a live, online format with a WhyTry-trained Harmony instructor. On the other weeks, students log in to Canvas for a brief assignment.
- Students will log in to Zoom for a 45-minute session every other Tuesday or Thursday depending on grade level.
- Session times: K-3rd grades at 1-1:45 pm and 4th-6th grades at 2-2:45 pm
If you are interested in enrolling your child in the WhyTry course, you can add it as part of the course registration process or request them through the resource request system.
