Harmony Educational Services is an independent curriculum provider. To gain free access to our curriculum and programs, students must register with one of our partner schools. Course packages are also available for purchase.

Once accepted into a Harmony program you will be asked to submit your enrollment paperwork to our partner school. Once the enrollment process has been completed you may request your courses.

All students are provided access to curriculum which maps directly to the Utah Core Curriculum Standards as required by the Utah State Office of Education (USOE). In addition, the students are supported by a caring team of certified teachers and Harmony mentors.

What can I expect next?

Students will be contacted via email as they are accepted into the school and a Harmony program. We highly recommend that you add harmonyed.com to your safe senders list in your email program so your enrollment email will avoid your spam folder. Feel free to call us if you haven’t received your notice by May 31st, just in case there is a problem. You can reach a Harmony Enrollment Advisor at 801-471-0208.

What can I expect once I am accepted?

Once your students are accepted by a Harmony partner school, you will be required to complete the school’s registration process. Information on how to complete that process will be emailed to you upon acceptance into both the school and a Harmony partner program. In addition, you will be contacted by a Harmony Enrollment Advisor who can help guide you through the school’s admissions process. No student can progress to the curriculum request process without having the following paperwork turned into the school:

  • Complete enrollment packet (all students)
  • Birth certificate (new students)
  • Complete immunizations or personal exemption (all new students and returning students only as applicable)
  • Proof of Residency (grades K-8)

What are the enrollment requirements?

All candidates for a Harmony-powered program are required to submit to the school:

  1. Birth certificate
  2. Immunization records (see our article on exemptions to this)
  3. Proof of Residency (grades K-8)

Other school requirements:

  1. Students in grades 3 and up will be required to take the SAGE assessment on the core subject(s) as required by the state: Writing, Math and Science in April through May (requires travel to testing center).
  2. As required by law, students in grades 1-3 will be required to take the state reading assessment test (DIBELS) three times a year (beginning, middle, and end).
What are the dates and timelines for enrollment?

Students can expect to be contacted regarding school enrollment according to the following schedule:

  • March – Returning student re-enrollment begins
  • April – New student enrollment begins. Prospective students will be notified as spaces become available in our programs. Deadlines for paperwork will be given according to the date of acceptance.
  • May – Returning student course selection begins
  • June – New student course selection begins.
  • August – School Starts
Is the curriculum aligned to state Common Core Standards?

How do I turn in paperwork for my student?

Our partner schools require all enrollment documents to be submitted directly to them. The acceptance email will have instructions on how to submit those documents to your child’s school of enrollment.

Do I get to keep my curriculum and materials?

All books, learning materials, curriculum, technology and funding are considered property of the school/program and must be returned if a student withdraws or fails to adhere to all program requirements.

Why do I need to fill out a registration packet if I am a returning student?

A full registration packet is required by state law to be enrolled in a Utah school. All pages in the enrollment packet are important and the paperwork is required is required for our partner school’ records.

What is Dual Enrollment and Can I Dual Enroll?

Dual enrollment, according to Utah state law, is defined as a student who is enrolled simultaneously in a Utah public school AND in a Utah charter school, home school, Utah online school, or a regularly established private school. Harmony’s K-8 partner school, Provo eSchool, does not participate in dual enrollment.

Do I need to fill out a registration packet if I am a returning student?

YES. Harmony Educational Services has partnered with several Utah school. Each of our partner schools can only enroll in certain grades. If your student must be switched to a different school because of grade or location requirements, the alternative school will require a full registration packet for the new school year.

Additional Information

  • Students are required to participate in State tests as required by law.
  • Students are required to make regular and consistent progress in each of their courses to remain eligible for Harmony Programs.
  • Students earn official public school credit, from their school of enrollment, for all courses on their approved schedule.
  • Students in grades K-6 receive a Pass or Fail for each course.
  • Students in grades 9-12 receive letter grades and an official transcript.
  • All program requirements are subject to change at any time.
  • Students entering grade 12 must currently have earned a minimum of 17 credits from an accredited school (as seen on their transcript) to be accepted into Provo eSchool.
