Calendars
A great place to stay up-to-date on important dates is the calendar found on the Parent Dashboard. Here you’ll find information such as Flex submission dates, testing dates, school dates, etc.

Harmony Choice
Harmony Choice is a new program available for our Utah and Idaho families, designed to offer more flexibility in selecting supplemental programs for your children at no cost to you. This initiative reflects Harmony’s ongoing commitment to personalized, student-centered learning. Please log into the FRC to explore your Harmony Choice options. You can also reach out to your mentor or our curriculum specialist, Lynelle McElhannon at lmcelhannon@harmonyed.com if you have additional questions.
Canvas Tips
Here are some useful tips in Canvas for Flex, Portfolio, and Homeroom courses.
Once in your child’s Canvas account, select Calendar on the left side. The calendar view shows the previous and upcoming submissions for that student’s courses in Canvas.
- You can click on the item and a box will pop up with details. You can then click on each item to go right to the submission in the course.
Also, be sure to check back in Canvas to see comments from the graders and teachers. In the student’s Canvas account, there will be alerts on the right for any comments from teachers. Or you select the course, then select Grades > Score. If there is a comment icon, you can click on that to see the comment.
- Based on the comment, you might want to resubmit the assignment.
MobyMax Placement Tests and Quiz Resets
If your child has a MobyMax course, be sure to check out the helpful information in the MobyMax section of the Curriculum Orientation. If you would like your child to take a placement assessment for Language Arts or Math, please contact your mentor, and we’ll get that set up for you.
Also, if you would like your child to retake a MobyMax quiz or redo a lesson, please contact your mentor with the module name and quiz or lesson title, so that we can reset it. Lessons and quizzes that have been reset will generally appear in the Assignments tab on the MobyMax student dashboard.
Flex Information
Here are the Flex submission dates for the 1st quarter. Be sure to submit your student’s worksheets on time as this tracks attendance and progress.

To find helpful information about Flex courses, log into the Family Resource Center and go to the Curriculum Orientation. From the sidebar menu in the Flex sections, you will find FAQs, which include submission instructions and a submission video.
Family Focus Fridays
Join us for our interactive Family Focus Fridays sessions designed to support and empower parents in the homeschooling journey.

Possible Resources
At Harmony, we’re always excited to offer resources that support your student’s education. To get started, be sure to order your curriculum and technology first. After that, you can use any remaining funds for a variety of educational items and experiences that enhance learning.
We’ve included some fun ideas and examples to inspire you! Keep in mind that most items have price limits, so if you’re unsure about anything, don’t hesitate to reach out to your mentor.

Resource Ordering
Ordering is now open for all types of resources! Please note that for all order types except reimbursements, you may submit one order per semester per student.
- 1st Semester Ordering Period: July 1 – October 31
- 2nd Semester Ordering Period: December 1 – January 31
Order Types:
- Request Technology: Use this form to request laptops. We recommend ordering early to avoid any potential delays.
- Request Educational Supplies & Resources: Order general school supplies, workbooks, textbooks, pencils, art supplies, museum memberships, and more. You may include items from multiple websites.
- Request 3rd Party Payments: After your 3rd party vendors are approved, use this form to request payments. Payments will be issued via check. For full-year classes, remember to split the payments and request them by semester.
- Internet Payments: Request up to $225 per semester, payable directly to your internet service provider. Limit of one request per family, per semester.
- Request Curriculum Subscriptions and/or Kits: Use this form to order Harmony-offered curriculum or subscriptions (e.g., MobyMax, DreamBox) to use as supplemental resources.
- Request Reimbursement: Reimbursements may be submitted up to 10 times per year—once per month of the school year. Eligible receipt dates: May 1, 2025 – May 31, 2026.
- Request Educational Subscriptions: This includes educational boxes and services like Tinker Crate, ABC Mouse, Kiwi Crate, and many more. If the subscription you’re looking for isn’t listed, you can request it under educational supplies on the main resource order form.
